WUAP WORLDS 2024 - Change of organizer

Dear friends

On Thursday (October 5, 2023), the representative of WUAP for Poland Mr. Franciszek Szabluk informed me by phone that Poland will not organize the assigned World Championships in 2024 and their decision is final.

That is why we immediately started to solve this situation and first of all we approached the representatives of the countries that are geographically close to Poland, in order to preserve the championship for the competitors in the territory of Central Europe.

After consultations with representatives of WUAP – CZ, we obtained approval to hold the WUAP World Championships in 2024 in the Czech Republic. The venue should be one of the cities – Brno or Prostějov (Morava).

Subsequently, communication took place in the management of WUAP (Rudolf Siska, Franz Seewald and Meinhard Schröeder) with the result that we recommend the venue, but within the framework of correct relations between WUAP representatives in the member countries, we asked for a statement - agreement / disagreement with this solution and with this change.

After consultations with representatives of WUAP in the Czech Republic, Monika Tišlerová and Martin Košnar, the federation received a proposal to organize the world championship on September 24-28, 2024.

WUAP – CZ organized the European Championships this year, and after the promise of the representatives of Slovakia and Austria, who declared maximum effort and help in the organization, we are convinced that the 2024 World Championship in the Czech Republic will be a good choice.
